Regional Branches and Officials
Our membership is widely spread and regional groups have therefore been created, based loosely on counties, except for Wales which is split North and South, Jersey, and the USA which is the entire USA. A minimum of six members can form a Region and organise their own programme of events and activities.
Most regions of the BWA have regular meetings, many of which involve practical sessions where members can carve, chat, drink tea (and in some cases, beer) and receive advice and help with their project from experienced carvers. Many regions also exhibit and demonstrate at woodworking and/or craft shows.
Listed below are our active Regions. If you are unsure which is the best Region for you, please contact the Membership Secretary or the Regional Liaison Officer (details at the bottom of this page) and you will be put in touch with a Regional Leader.
